Quickstart

1. Download nQuake

To connect to a server:

2. Press the ` key to bring up the server
3. Type /connect ffa.seafps.net

Notes

You don’t need a copy of Quake to play multiplayer (since nQuake includes GPL-licensed maps), but you can purchase it from either Steam or GOG. If you do, copy the pak1.pak file from the id1 directory of the official version to id1 in your nQuake installation.

Here are some public servers you can practice on:

You can also try the following, if they’re up:

• qw.seafps.net:28501 (FFA only)

Weekly FFA

The server for the weekly FFA is ffa.seafps.net:27500. To connect to it, type ` to bring up the console then type /connect ffa.seafps.net.
